This week I worked on finishing phase 3 of the IDB project with my group. We were able to submit the project hours before the deadline instead of right on the deadline like last time which was quite relieving. I also learned about some SQL topics during class. This week was a good refresher on topics I was aware about but had not worked with in a while.

This week I made a good amount of progress on Phase II of the IDB project. Working on the backend part of the project has been a lot of fun lately. However, I look forward to working heavily on the frontend soon! I also attended class and learned about how python generators and decorators work.

Last week I attended class and learned about iterators, what it means to be iterable, and how to make copies of lists in python. I also worked with my group to complete Phase 1 of the IDB project. What did you do this past week?

Last week I finished up the Collatz project. It ended up taking much longer than I anticipated, but finishing it up was very satisfying. Overall, I really liked the experience of going through the typical workflow when working on a project. Last week, I was also able to step outside for a bit to experience the somewhat-rare cold weather in Texas. Though, I made sure to not stay outside too long because it is quite literally freezing.
